Every Wednesday, there is a tradition of holding an old-fashioned ladies night at Café De Punt. The ladies are offered free drinks from 8 pm to 10 pm. The night kicks off to strains of smooth music, which finally evolves into up-tempo salsa and merengue. At Hooks Hut, there is live music with Rumba Band, which starts at 10 in the night.

On Fridays, at Landhuis Granbeeuw, there is live music from bands that play popular music to make the night groove. Several world-famous DJs are also found performing to entertain the motley crowd that hangs out in all these nightspots. At Tu Tu Tango, Dj Tico from Barcelona performs every Friday at 23.00. The place also hosts live music by Future band and Chispa band. It starts at 8 pm and lasts throughout the night.

On Sundays, it is possible to have a great time, after sunset at Hooks. It offers a delicious dinner along with cocktails in a uniquely Caribbean setting, to the strains of music of one's choice ranging from reggae and soca to rock and salsa.

The local bands that are very popular in the island are Arnell y su Orkesta, Okay Band and Julio y su Cuban Express who set just the right the tone for groovy evenings in this picturesque island.

There are lots of casinos in the island that are an attraction for tourists who are captivated by the lure of the tables and the slot machines and gamble away into the early hours of the morning.
