Dining in Honduras can be fun because of the wide range of dishes available here to try out. One of the best dishes to taste in any restaurant here is Plato Tipico which is refried red or black beans, along with crema, rice, a salty piece of bland cheese, plantains and corn tortillas. It is the national dish of Honduras and is served in the form of a platter with many garnishes including beef, the stable diet of the country, fried plantain, beans, marinated cabbage, sour cream, and plenty of tortillas on the side.

El Quijote
Located in the La Leona section of town, this place has existed for over 30 years. It provides a spectacular view of the central park and the Cathedral of St. Michael Archangel. El Quijote serve tasty and refined international cuisine and specialize in Spanish Paellas and seafood platters.

This bar is perched on the top floor of a building where you will find a grass hut, which covers more than half of the floor space. They stock an excellent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you visit this place, it is recommended to order for their barbeque menu, which offers some tasty selections, and is rather filling. You could also order for a ham or pork chopped with beans, rice, and salad. The margaritas served here are also quite good.
Happy Hour is held from 4-6 pm on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The favorite dishes include the Mexican favorite, tacos. You can choose the main course from beef, chicken, or a mix of the two.
