Maldives does not have a very exciting nightlife, as there are no bars in the area except a few provided by the resorts and hotels. Alcohol and hard drinks can only be enjoyed at these locations. However, you need to keep in mind that no alcohol can be obtained while you are on the road towards the capital of Male'.

For tourists who are fond of partying till late night there are a few discotheques and resorts which are quite close to the capital Male' that has live bands playing in the evenings.
