Hotels in Malta ensure excellent services and quality. All hotels in Malta, Gozo and Comino are accredited by the MTA (Malta Tourism Authority). This accreditation ranges from 2 star to a 5 star depending on the services and amenities offered.

Two star hotels provide for basic accommodation, while five star hotels provide luxury lodging. Regular inspection by authorities of the MTA is done on these hotels to ensure the quality of these hotels.

There are various holiday villas to rent in Malta and Gozo. 2 options that are provided are, either renting the whole villa or sharing it with other tourists. The smallest villa accommodates 4 people in 2 bedrooms whereas the largest villa can accommodate 11 people in 6 bedrooms. In general, any Gozo or Malta villa has its own bathroom attached to the bedrooms. They are also equipped with a TV and a swimming pool and a kitchen. These villas are located 5 minutes away from the local beaches.

There are a lot of self-catering apartments also available in Malta and Gozo. These flats are equipped with private bathrooms, a balcony and a kitchen area with fridge, sink and electric cooker. Some even have fans and heaters while others have air conditioning. The basic accommodations provide the best value for money.

Apartments can also be rented in holiday resorts, which serve breakfast as well.

All good hotels are situated on the sister island of Malta, i.e. Gozo. The island of Gozo is plush green and is as enticing as Malta. The isle of Calypso is frequently visited by the tourists. The only mode of commutation from Gozo to Malta is by helicopter or by sea.
