Art Deco Weekend

This is held somewhere around mid-January where along with talks and free events the event is focused on Miami's South Beach architecture, near the ocean drive.

Taste of the Grove

This event takes place around mid-January and is one lively Miami food festival where people relish the variant cuisines that get displayed. It features an assortment of food and free music in Miami Coconut Grove's Peacock Park.

Homestead Championship Rodeo in February

This is held in early February where the professional cowboys compete in steer-wrestling, bull-riding, calf-roping and bareback riding.

Carnival Miami

This is always held on the first Saturday in March, and this lively Miami carnival features Hispanic-themed events across the city, and the event concludes in a parade at the Orange Bowl.

Ericksson Open

This is the one of the world's biggest tennis tournament that is in held in Miami's Crandon Park Tennis Center in Key Biscayne.

Miracle Mile Festival

This is held in early April, and features large parades along the famous Miracle Mile.

South Beach Film Festival

This is usually held around mid April, and includes the local and non-resident film directors, debuting short films at Miami's Colony Theater.

4th of July

This is the Independence Day of Miami and is celebrated throughout with music, fireworks and laser-light shows.

Miami Reggae Festival in August

This is held on the first Sunday in August, on Jamaican Independence Day, where several top Jamaican bands take over the stage.

Festival Miami in September

This is held during the mid-September, and is a three-week event, which displays great visual arts events, organized by the University of Miami. This is usually held at Miami's Coral Gabless.

Hispanic Heritage Festival in October

This particular event is held throughout October and includes numerous events related to Latin American history and culture.

Indian Arts Festival in December

This is usually held in late December where the residents of America participate from all over the country. This is normally held at Miami's Miccosukee Village.
