Miami beaches are not the only prime attraction of the city. Miami also offers outstanding nightlife options to its visitors. South Beach boasts some of the best nightclubs, bars and pubs in town. However, the nightclub scene in Miami is fickle and the popularity of other clubs around town changes regularly.

Miami's club scene and nightlife offers several options to suit everyone, from young people who want to dance all night to older couples who prefer to sit at a quiet table to enjoy the night with a bottle of wine and a nice conversation. The nightlife in Miami is very diverse and features plenty of mainstream discos that usually open at 10 pm and continue till the wee hours of the morning. Some even serve free breakfast buffet for all-night clubbers. You should always be well mannered and polite when waiting to enter a Miami nightclub, else you may be refused entry.

Nightlife in Miami is more vibrant on Friday and Saturday nights. However, there is usually a good choice on weeknights and a number of Miami's nightclubs boost their midweek sales by offering discounted rates on drinks, free entrance for women and excellent sideshows.

Nikki Beach

Currently one of Miami's most popular club areas, it is an attractive beach spa with several sun beds and parasols. During the night however, several clubbers dance the night away with some of the best DJs from around the world.

Opium Garden

The Opium Garden features an outdoor amphitheater style nightclub surrounded by several palm trees. The nightclub reflects a strong Eastern atmosphere.

Amnesia

A popular open-air nightclub, the Amnesia is a favorite amongst the younger crowds in Miami. The nightclub is open daily and is particularly packed during weeknights.

Bash

The Bash nightclub is co-owned by Sean Penn and Mick Hucknell and features a garden dance terrace, an intimate bar and a large dance floor, playing loud techno music.

Blue

Open daily from 10 pm, the Blue nightclub and bar plays outstanding funk and soul music accompanied by a tantalizing array of potent drinks.

Club 609

The only real nightclub in Miami's Coconut Grove, the club features two massive dance floors playing a large selection of hip-hop, dance and salsa music. The nightclub is almost always full.

Crobar

Considered to be one of the best nightclubs in South Beach, the Crobar features hip-hop and techno music. The nightclub is closed on Tuesdays.

Level
