Milan offers a whole variety of Recreational activities from parks to aquariums and bowling. There is a wide spectrum of things to be done in this part of Italy. There are other activities that also offer an extensive range of programs and special events that you can enjoy every month of the year.

Milan flaunts spacious selection of parks that range from the largest parks to the smallest gardens in Milan, both private as well as public, which once belonged to the city's nobility. Considering the fact that Milan is a busy city but still has so much greenery that it is certainly bound to surprise you. Some of these gardens are just a small square with surrounding trees and others are large and quite spacious.

Recreation Harbour Club Milano

This recreational activity center was established in 1995, and recently this Harbour Club Milano has now firmly started the finest health, fitness and tennis club in Milan. Many people come along with their family and friends to experience some outstanding indoor and outdoor facilities, which are set in 70,000 square meters of private grounds and garden. They also have convenient private parking, and can offer you a pleasant escape from daily routine life.

Nature Park

South of Main Street

The various types of facilities that you expect include softball diamond, soccer field, and picnic area with shelter, tables and grills. For children there are huge playground areas and horseshoe pits.

Sanford Road Park

In between E. Arkona and Milan-Oakville Roads.

It includes facilities like Radio-Controlled Model Airplane Flying Field, Horse Show Arena, Jogging Trail and Pheasant Habitat and Sanctuary to name a few.

Softball Park

9-acre park

Located on the Gump Lake Dr. south of Main Street. They have an amazing adult softball diamonds and walk lane and bike path.

Wilson Park

Located on the 35-acre park on Wabash Street south of Main Street, this park includes a picnic area playgrounds and basketball courts. You will also find sand volleyball court, walk lanes and bike paths and softball baseball fields.

Milan Senior and Community Activity Center

Milan also has a senior and Community Center that offers a lot of recreational activities to the senior citizens. You can call them and confirm regarding their scheduled events.

Monday

9:30am: Walk 'Round Town - a walking club open to all

10:00am: Quilting, knitting, crocheting,

You can have a nice time enjoying the community atmosphere as all the people gather in the winter months to stitch and catch up on town talk.

10:30am: Chair Exercise Class - walk-ins welcome

11:45am: lunch available ($2.00 suggested donation, reservation required 48 hours in advance)

12:30pm: Penny Bingo

Blood Pressure checks - usually fourth Monday of every month.

Tuesday

Is the Out-to-Lunch-Bunch on every third Tuesday of each month.

Wednesday

9:30am: Beginning Line Dance Class - walk-ins welcome

10:30am: A variety of craft classes

12:30pm: Senior Fun Band practice - open to all, instruments (kazoos, maracas, tambourines, wash boards, etc) provided

Hearing aid checks - usually third Thursday of each month.

Evening potlucks are held on the first and third Fridays of every month. The Ongoing services are provided once a month.

The Milan aquarium is one of the oldest and largest of its kind that you have ever come across in Italy. You will be surprised to see that there are thirty-six enormous pools filled with more than 100 different species of fish that are living in recreated environments ranging from the Amazon to the Mediterranean.
