1. Best Times to Go
Most visitors travel to Morocco during the peak seasons of July and August. If you want to avoid the crowds and the heat, visit Morocco before or after this time. If traveling to Morocco in July or August, then make your hotel reservations in advance, mainly for resorts along the coast.
On the Atlantic-Mediterranean shoreline, June to September are the best times to travel to Morocco, presenting mostly rain-free days and fairly humid and warm surroundings, with the mercury remaining around 80°F during the day.
More comfortable surroundings on the central plateau will be found from March to June and September to December.
2. What to Wear
Wear lightweight cottons and linens during summer. Warm medium weights are suitable for evenings during winter and in the mountainous regions. Waterproof clothing is recommended in the wet season, mainly on the coast and in the mountains.
