There are many recreational activities that a traveler can choose from camping, fishing to hiking and from tennis to winter sports.

Boyer Park & Marina,
Located 30 miles west of Moscow,

This is an ideal place for travelers to explore their opportunities if opting for activities such as swimming, boating, and camping. This 40-acre site has a marina, beach, tents, campgrounds, dressing rooms, showers, and laundry facilities as well. It is very close to Lower Granite Dam and hence, enables fishing. During the spring, you can witness the Kokanee working their way back home to the spawns.

Both Latah County (Idaho) and Whitman County (Washington) offer more than a few exceptional County Park facilities. You will find Robinson Park and Virgil Phillips Farm in the Latah County. In Whitman County you will discover Kamiak Butte, Klemgard Park, Wawawai Park on the Snake River, and the Bill Chipman Palouse.
Elk Creek Falls Recreation Area
Located 54 miles east of Moscow,
This place has a series of waterfalls that plunge almost 300 feet into a forest canyon. Elk Creek and nearby Elk Creek Reservoir are some of the favorite spots in order to catch the best rainbow scenes and brook trout.

Located 35 minutes south of Moscow,
This place includes 200 acres of developed land that edges the Snake River as the gateway into Hells Canyon, which is extremely well known for being North America's deepest canyon. You will find abundance of grassy space for family picnics, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and wildlife viewing. The park offers 93 RV/tent campsites, 8 cabins, and a Lewis and Clark center.

The Kimberly land also has a fully outfitted gym and Turkish baths. Bitsa Equestrian Sport Club offers travelers recreational activities such as shooting, swimming, tennis, volleyball, aerobics, horse riding and paint balling, as well as a full fitness center. Apart from that, The Entertainment Center na Tulskoi, Kholodilny pereulok 3, offers its visitors roller-skating, and bowling.

Winter sports
You can engage yourself in a downhill ski jump in the Vorobyevi Hills and participate in the cross-country skiing opportunities at Izmailovsky Park and in the countryside outside of Moscow. There are abundant places to skate when the water freezes in mid-winter, includes the most famous Gorky Park.
Swimming
On hot summer days you can head to Serebryaniy, just north of the city, to enjoy a nice lazy afternoon in the warm waters and sand.
Relaxation
The banya (bathhouse) is a deeply well established Russian tradition, and many Muscovites make it an imperative part of their weekly visit. Its major elements are hot steam rooms, beauty shops, separate male and female sections, massage rooms and laundry sections. The Sandunovskiye baths, with its richly engraved Gothic room and general air of aristocratic decadence, is considered one of the best places to wash, relax and socialize.

Ice-skating is a classic activity that you can most certainly experience at Chistye Prudy or Izmaylovsky Park.
