1. Air

The Ruzyne International Airport serves Prague's global air transport needs. It is located about 10 km from the city center and is the hub of Czech Airlines. The airport can be easily reached by Bus No.100 From Zilicin metro station, Bus No.119 from Dejvicka metro station, bus No.179 from Nove Butovice metro station and No.254 from Dejvicka metro station. In addition, there are shuttle buses and private airport taxis at the disposal of the tourists traveling needs.

2. Bus

Traveling by Bus is convenient in Prague. There are 193-day bus lines, which run at a frequency of every 6 to 8 minutes during the peak hours and after 10 to 20 minutes interval in morning hours. On the weekends the buses run at approximately 15 to 30 minute intervals. They function from 4:30am until midnight. Bus schedules can be seen at the bus stops and tickets can be purchased either at 24 hours ticket machines or on the bus itself.

3. Car

Car can be easily hired either from car rental companies or from online stores. When booking online, certain details are required to be furnished by the tourists such as the details of the date, time and location of the pick up or the drop. 4. Ferry

Ferry transport in Prague is fairly new and the first ever ferry was between Sedlec and Bohnice. The other ferry at Vltava river was inaugurated a year later between Sedlec and Zamky. The ferries help to transport bikes, baby coaches or animals. The new ferry would give admittance to Troja, which harbors the Prague zoo. An ordinary PRI ticket can be used on the ferry.

5. Ship

Prague has a large fleet of passenger ships on the Vltava River. The oldest shipping company in Prague called Prazska paroplavebni spolecnost has number of ships that facilitate sightseeing tours. 6.Taxi

It is not difficult to find taxis in Prague but it is always advisable to be careful of the cab fares, as honest taxi drivers are exceptions there. If not aware of the approximate price that the taxi drivers charge, there is every possibility of you being ripped off. The better option is to phone for a taxi, since they are registered and there is a lesser risk of them charging exorbitant prices. Most of the taxi companies in Prague charge more or less the same rates, which is approximately $0.76 per km. Some of the bigger firms that provide taxis are AAA Taxi and ProfiTaxi. You can call them and get a rough estimate of the price before the commencing the journey. This will save you from being overcharged. It is important to make sure that the meter is on when the ride begins.
