Nightlife in Santorini is exceptional considering the reputation of the region it is situated in. The most recommended mode of starting your night would be to relax with few drinks in a café or bar overlooking the beautiful sunset at first and then pep things up by boogieing to the music.

Different regions of the island offer different experiences for tourists. Head to Oiu for a romantic night out with the special someone or head to Fira for a wild time in the clubs and discos there. The various wineries and wine-tasting rooms of the island also have lively nighttime entertainment in store for guests. So you can watch colorfully dressed natives doing the zorba as you sip your wine leisurely.

There are also a few late-night shopping areas on the island that can give a unique experience to the shopper looking to indulge in Santorini's culture.

There are also numerous fine dinning establishments that people can visit with friends and family. These places often offer breathtaking views of the Caldera by night and also provide open-air dinning option. Open-air dining is always a recommended thing on Santorini since, it hardly rains and the winds blowing from the Aegean and gentle and cool.

The season for international music events begins in August and last up till October. During this period, the best night activity is to head up for one of the performances and enjoy a live show with some street food along with thousands of other tourists and locals.

This is the oldest and most happening clubs not only on Santorini but also perhaps in all of Greece. It has some great international and local beats playing and offers one of the best dancing atmosphere ever. A must visit on the nightlife list.

This is the place to head for if you want to party well into the wee hours of the day. A unique feature is a cage placed on the stage.

Another famous stop in nighttime Santorini, Koo is a great place to hang out with friends as well as family. The timings are great and the music is lively with a bright atmosphere. However, this place tends to get crowded very soon.

Yellow Donkey Disco

This is a popular option among the younger locals and is a moderate place to chill all evening.

Canava Roussos Winery

This is the place to head for if you are interested in Greek culture since that is the hallmark of Canava. It has regular shows with traditional dances of Yorba. Reservations are recommended.
