Turk And Caicos Island Paradise
Located in the Atlantic Ocean, right next to the Caribbean, is the paradise of the Turk and Caicos Islands. Among the spectacular sights provided by the islands are pristine beaches stretching for miles together, great natural beauty and wildlife, one of the world's best diving regions and the beautiful emerald green waters. But perhaps the greatest reason for a trip to Turks and Caicos is the sheer isolation of the islands and the resultant peace and tranquility tourists experience. Even in the peak seasons, the islands are hardly ever crowded and whenever you wish to be all by yourself, all you have to do is charter a yacht or a plane and have it drop you off at the nearest deserted island or cay. Turks and Caicos is the perfect place for an intimate getaway or an extended vacation for people of all age groups.
The weather around the islands is temperate, neither too hot nor too cold. Even the rains fall intermittently and never heavily enough to disrupt outdoor excursions. People can enjoy activities on shore as well as off it. Those fond of culture can visit the various nightclubs, bars and cafés to hear stories from the locals or just soak on some native music. The adventurous, environment-loving lot can partake in some speleology or climb the limestone cliffs or descend the caverns or even visit any of the thirty-three island reserves. Alternatively, they could just head down to the ocean to watch the migrations of enormous humpback whales, which inhabit the waters of the ocean.
The people of the Turks and Caicos Islands are very friendly, taking an avid interest in the travelers who visit their island. Their food, culture and lives are all centered on the tourism industry and thus, are ever willing to accommodate and share.
